Summer Intensive Dance Workshop
(Limited Space Available)
June 14-27, 2009
The FSU School of Dance’s summer intensive dance workshop in ballet and modern is taught by an outstanding faculty in our newly renovated facility in Montgomery Hall on the FSU campus. The program is designed for the well-rounded dancer who is interested in all forms of dance. Proficiency in intermediate ballet technique is required. Each day will begin with a conditioning class to prepare the students for a full day of training. All students will take a daily ballet and modern technique class, followed by either ballet or modern repertory. Evenings will be filled with lectures, films and other classes such as jazz, hip hop, technology, and composition.
There will be an informal showing of the work from the repertory and composition classes on Saturday, June 27, 2009 in the Nancy Smith Fichter Dance Theatre. Parents are invited.
